The Startup
Perfect for the business, individual or startup on a budget. This is a One Week Website. Literally. The cost is $2000 and we require payment in full from you. Here’s what’s included and how the process works:
Initialization
After we receive payment in full from you, I’ll ask that you please fill out my project questionnaire. Then, we will have a phone meeting involving you (only one decision maker please), myself and a visual/creative designer to begin planning for the project. You’ll get a choice of 3 powerful WordPress templates, and we’ll all agree on a calendar week for designing, developing and implementing your site.
Design
Up to 12 hours of design/creative work will be included and needs to be completed within three business days (further requests can be contracted on an hourly basis @ $100/hr.). We’ll help determine where you’ll be best served by the designer. You might need a quick and nimble logo (that means 1 concept, no revisions), or you might want the creative time spent customizing your template, or assisting you with home page copy. Because this isn’t a one size fits all monthly template/hosting service, you’ll get personalized advice from real humans on how we can best help you get your site up, fast.
Development
You not only need your new website to look good, you also need it to function smoothly and work the way you want. You’ll get up to 12 hours of setup, installation and optimization which will ensure your new website has the features you want. The developer will work with you to configure and implement specific requests based off your requirements and what can be included in the timeline which can include:
- Customizable website forms
- Customizable page layouts (sidebar/no sidebar, columns, etc.)
- Customized content entry (makes adding content easier for you)
- Image galleries / slideshows
- Video
- Blogging
- Content entry/migration
The developer will spend time incorporating any specific design considerations identified by the visual/creative designer.
Finalization
By the fourth business day, the test site will be up and you can start to see how it’s going to look and function. The fifth business day is for testing and debugging. If you want to enter your own content, you can do it on this day. If you’re ready, we’ll go live at the end of the business day.
Other Goodies
A 2-hour training video and/or written documentation walking you through the WordPress content management system will be provided at the beginning of the week and as soon as your test site is live, you can begin familiarizing yourself with the content management area of your site. 2 hours of follow up questions and support is included to assist you with any problems or questions you may have.
